Another week ticks by... Croatia over the last week, summer fun. Croatia's islands and coast are tops, rivalling Greece I feel. We've spent the last week nights in Split, and then Dubrovnik, which was probably our favourite destination yet. An amazing old town and fortress, beaches everywhere, Croatia mama and papa taking good care of us at the hostel as I've previously mentioned and 3 consecutive nights at the dodgiest looking bar in the world, but also one of the best. We met up with two great guys from Melbourne we almost and sort of knew from back home, good to hang out with, and our evenings usually wound up diving in the ocean near the old town at 5am... great times!
Needless to say after this kind of partying and an overnight ferry to Italy last night sleeping on the deck I'm in need of a bit more R&R. Naples looks like the place to provide it culinarily (a word or not?) but certainly not automobilearily (definitely not a word!). Chaos on the roads to rival China, a tough wrap to live up to but Naples is worthy. Vespas diving everywhere, intersections getting two greens simultaneously and giving way not really existing without force is just the beginning... Driving friend Kerr weirdly enjoyed it though... Italy looks like fun though, will keep you posted on our progress.
