Hello all! So I graduate my DTS a couple weeks ago. It went really well although I'm sad to see all my new friends leave. Overall I'm glad to have accomplished my DTS and its definitely a bit easier now traveling with just a few friends instead of huge groups. Thank you all very much for your prayer and financial support! YOU were the backbone of this ministry and it couldn't of been done with you!
To sum up the last few weeks after the graduation ceremony on June 29th, we had a nice party then everyone the next day went their separate ways. I went back to Tel Aviv then went to Petra, Jordan for a few days. Now I'm Greece with a four friends and will continue to travel for a few more weeks then come home. Europe is so much more expensive that Southeast Asia! Whereas a hostel/hotel in Vietnam is like $6-$9/night now its around $20-$30. Food is also a lot more. But oh well, its a fun time.
Some good news: I sold my house!!! Thank God. It closed just less than a week ago. Thank you so much for all of your prayers! Now I'll really be coming home to, well, not my house but my mom's home. It will be a bit weird for sure since my mom sold my house and I didn't have a change to say "goodbye". Goodbye house.
Many of you have asked me what I'll be doing when I return. Good question. Not sure right now but it will either be going back overseas or going to do more schooling. Thoughts of completing my M.Div. have crossed my mind along with an M.S. in Marriage and Family Therapy. Its difficult because my mindset and worldview has expanded so much from being overseas and I'm torn between returning to do missions work and investing in more education. God will show me the right thing to do and am not worried.
I love you all and drop me and e-mail or a guestbook entry when you have a chance! Let me now how I can pray for you! Bye for now.
