Well after a 2 hour delay (the computers at Heathrow didn't register that our plane had actually arrived until 2 hours after it had landed!!) we finally touched down in Accra.
About 30 kilo's of our luggage was the toys and stationery for the school so our bags will be so light on the way back (also means lots of room for duty free).
We were met by Ruth from Plan, and a Plan Ghana driver called Stephen. Everything that was mentioned in the guide book about 'helpers' was true. Two gentlemen walked by the side of us and escorted us to our car (even though they didn't know what car we were in), then they asked for a tip for them showing the way!! Fortunately they weren't offended when we turned them down.
Managed to squeeze in a nightcap before crashing.
