All My People,
Viva Las Vegas! We decided to take a drive down the 15 to Vegas, cause you can’t come to the west coast and not go to Vegas.
Let me start by saying it was a long, hot, dusty, desert drive to Vegas, but I thank god for AC in the car because when we read the temperature gage it said 103F – don’t believe me, check the picture out. Yes I took it because I couldn’t believe it was saying 103. Coming from good old Blity anything in the 60’s and we think it’s a heat wave. Along the way we did manage to find an outlet mall (yes another one) literally in the middle of no-where. So we stopped off to stretch our legs and have a nose around.
So back on the road and about another 2hrs, across the California and Nevada state line at Primm – which also has a designer outlet centre, casinos and hotels to stay there.

So we eventually arrived in Vegas and as expected was greeted by the “Welcome To Las Vegas’ sign, that you see all the time. It was very surreal and also the fact that you are driving surrounded by nothing but desert and mountain that you come off the freeway and then bam there’s big old bright Vegas in the middle of no-where.
As we are driving down the strip to our hotel which was in downtown Vegas, so we drive pass all these famous hotel and casino like the Belliago, Caesars, Venetian, Stardust and through whole theme areas like Paris, New York New York. Everything was recreated in these areas to look like the original in the city then came from. It became apparent that everything in Vegas was done big.
Highlight of Vegas was definitely seeing the Cirque Du Soleil show at Treasure Island – Mystere. Enjoy the pictures I almost for thrown out getting this sneaky shot. If you ever get an opportunity to one of the Cirque plays you do it you wont regret it. We where lucky enough to see two. Vegas will definitely be seeing me again. Ooo i forgot and the Forum desinger shops at Ceasers Palace!!!
