Yesterday (Friday), I went to Yokosuka to pick up Gina from the TPU. To my suprise, Paula, a nifty cool friend, was going to join Gina and I for the weekend. After leaving the Naval Base, we decided that we were pretty hungry, so we stopped for food at Tempora. It was delicious! Tempora is a place that fries their food in coconut oil and coconut stuff. I had the Tempora Vegetable Platter...dad I at eggplant and it was GOOOOOOOOOD! After, Tempora we went to the train station and headed back to Negishi.
Saturday Gina, Paula, Amanda, Monica and Lailani all packed up and headed to Kamakura and the beach. This has to be the best weekend ever! We spent all day at the beach, we swam, laid out, and just relaxed. Funny story...we were all standing in the ocean and out of nowhere this wave comes up and smacked me in the family jewels. NOT FUN, but everyone else thought it was funny. Okay, after the beach we went to the Buddha temple. It's amazing that this temple has been standing since 1214 A.D. or something like that. It was amazing! Then we came back to Yokohama and had some goooooood food. Ahhh..good times. Enjoy the pictures!
