Well we've made it to Israel! It's pretty amazing to actually be here. We're having our team debrief here in Eilate. It's quite the culture shock getting here and seeing everyone on the beach with as little clothes as they can possibly wear, of course. But it's weird to be in a new place and not have to meet up with contacts and go through the schedual with what we'll be doing everyday. We just debrief about outreach, and then hang out. Go to the beach, go for a walk, out for coffee... it's a bit to get used to. We're having a good time though, and it's nice to get some much needed rest. On our last night here the Far East Asia Team and the Africa team all got to Eilate which is where they were having their debrief as well. It was so interesting to have half of the school together a few days before we met up in Jerusalem. But it was SO good to see everyone! We spent a few hours catching up and telling stories, and watched some of the World Cup on the beach. It was a good time. But only a few days in Eilat, and then its off to Jerusalem!
