London hasn't really been as crazy as I thought it would be. Last time I was here (yes, with the band...I'll admit it) it seemed like every day we were up and running from about 7am until about midnight, but these past few days have been very different. We go to bed early and get up late...my kind of vacation!
We met up with Kristen on Friday and then on Saturday and visited Westminster Abbey, the British Museum, Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament together. Today, we were a little bit more lazy. Kristen met up with Geoff, one of her friends from school, so Jeff and I spent the morning shopping at Herrod's. Actually, it was more like Jeff dragging me around the entire store until we saw all the toys, candy, and animals. He's worse to shop with than a 5-year-old.
We also went back to the British Museum to do some more looking around, because we only had 45 minutes the first time we were there. After the British Museum, we came back and had dinner and whatnot, then visited Piccadilly Circus (a Times Square wannabe - not an actual circus...sad) and just walked around.
Tomorrow we are going to be adventurous and try to cram a bunch of things into our last day! We are going to try and visit the London Eye, see the changing of the guards at Buckingham Palace, visit Camden Town, and see a musical (most likely Les Miserables) at a highly discounted rate. We're down.
We don't have much time left in London and my trip to Europe is coming to a close very quickly. I'll probably write a more sappy and reflective post when I get home. Until then!!
