Monday, May 1st - Michael and I awoke to bright blue skies, and chirping birds around 9:30am. We went to the Terrace Restaurant to eat breakfast. I grumbled at first (mostly b/c I didn't want to get out of bed) but once we got there, I realized it was a good decision. The breakfast meal was the BEST one of the day. They were EVERY day! Fresh fruit, freshly squeezed juices, and scads of other typical breakfast choices (eggs, bacon, omelets, french toast, muffins, bagels, etc. It was amazing!
We lazed around on the beach during the morning, which ended up being the day we spent the most time in the sun (sunburns proved that). We met with our wedding coordinator, Rasheda, at 2:00pm and picked out my bouquet, his boutineere, and the chocolate cake! We were scheduled for our photography session the following day at 2:00pm, which would've been our original wedding day.
At 6:45pm, we went night snorkeling with two resort tour guides, and two other couples. It was pretty fantastic! Michael's light went out when he spotted a lobster on the bottom of the ocean floor. He couldn't get anyone's attention to come check it out, so the rest of us didn't see it. BUMMER! It was a neat experience. The boat ride back to the resort was FREEZING. We jumped in the hot tub when we got back to warm up before dinner.
Dinner that evening was good, but I cannot really remember much about it. We were pretty pooped from the night snorkeling. They had live entertainment every evening, so we heard spectacular performances at every dinner.
