|  | | junk yard | | | | | We got to Marseille today and were not expecting such a DIRTY city. This place it disgusting. There are piles of trash bigger than cars about every 10 yards. There is a constant smell of landfill and urine. It is 50 time worse then New Orleans on a regular day and about 10 time worse than New Orleans during mardi gras. We went down to the port which was a little nicer...they had just finished a sailboat race down there. We looked into getting some REAL bouillabaisse but everything was way out of our price range. Instead we went to a west african restaurant where chef mama africa (as she calls herself) took good care of us and made us some authentic african cuisine. Ellen had the yassa and warner had the maffe.
