I was lucky enough to take part in a tour of Wembley Stadium today!

I knew that the park wouldn't be completed by the time we are due to leave the UK, so when I heard that our events team at work were going to check out the conference facilities, I thought that it was too good an opportunity to slip by!!!!

I can only think of one word to describe the stadium......MASSIVE!!!!
It seats 90,000, has enough restaurants to shake a stick at, and well talk about a maze of corridors!!

We were shown through the players tunnel, the "Royal Suite" which is literally what its name suggests, a number of restaurants, and of course out into the stadium. They have just laid the pitch, which was pretty exciting; sand based, like Eden Park, incase you were wondering! :)

They are a wee while off completing it yet, but after seeing the scale of this thing, and being allowed to go thru the "guts" of the stadium, this project would definitely have been no mean feat!!!!!

Fi : )

PS Check out the photo of me imitating a site inspector! hehehehe
