Left Granada at 7...arrivd in Rome at 21...count it...thats 14 hrs
And if ROME wasnt our final destinantion, you can bet your bottom euro i wouldnt have done it. A 6 hour bus ride to Madrid and a 2.5 hr plane ride sat between many metros and autobuses. We arrived in Rome and had the greatest, most perfect Italian meal you could have asked for. A man told us the best places to eat that are free of tourists. The place was a small family owned resaurante where we sat outside, had a liter of wine for 6 euros, some Gnocchi for 8, huge watermellon for 1.50 and of course water with gas. It was the perfect way to start our trip!
