|  | | Phillips Island | | | | | Flew to Melbourne on fri went to see the little penguins parade yesterday; saw about 2oo of them come out of the water and waddle to their burrows. They are about 10 to 12 inches tall and couldn`t weigh more than 3 or 4 pounds. Some walk as far as 400 meters or more to get to their spot. They don`t come out of the water until it gets dark so they won`t be prey for larger pretators. It was really unique and was worth the 2 hour bus ride from Melbourne; got back late and no trams were running and had to take a cab to the hostel. Next stop Lakes Entrance along the coast going back to Sydney. Leave early am tommorow. Sorry about the missing entries i don`t know what happened when I have more time I`ll see whats missing and try to fill in the gaps.
