We took the overnight ferry from Bari Italy to Patras Greece. We began the journey in the Adriatic Sea and crossed into the Ionian Sea. The ferry was luxurious like a cruise ship. We had a bar, restaurant, casino, theater, internet, and great places to lounge around. I woke up early in the morning to see a beautiful Greek sunrise emerging over the mountains. What a great way to enter an exciting country.
We stopped to see the city of Corinth, but found it difficult to get to the ruins. We decided to wander around the town and check out the harbor. I wish we could have made it to the older part of the city. Maybe we can see Corinth again on our return visit.
Tonight Aaron and I ate Greek food till we felt like our bellies were about to explode. I love Greece!
