Hope ur all ready for another dazzling update?!?! This time you have the honour of the male section of the travelling duo for your update.
Well we left a very hot Vegas and took the scenic route through a couple of National Parks (including, for all you U2 fans, Joshua Tree National Park - and saw Bono humping a tree (Ok, we didn't see him!!)). One night of the journey i had to give a tiny Bat (i think his name was Bertie!!) a helping hand to get out of a swimming pool at a hotel we were staying at. After all that excitement we eventually made it to sunny, and slightly boring, San Diego.
Today was a great part of the trip cos we eventually left the USA. Not being Xenophibic but America is a lovely place with some amazing sights, but they have the problem of there being lots of annoying americans!!!!
So, we popped on a tram to the mexican border (where some miserable old git tried to have a fight with me!!! Where's Stella Artois when i need it!?!) and then took a short bus-ride through the Mexican border to Tijuana (very commercialised), where they didn't even bother checking passports. Then another short bus ride down the coast to Ensenada. We've found a very cheap and rather basic motel for $25 a night, and more importantly located a bar for the England game tomorrow (0900 start though) which sells cheap booze, so thats all good.
We've just found out that to the bottom of Baja California (a state in Mexico) it's 890km, so that'll take approx a week, then we're getting a boat to the main section of Mexico, but we'll keep you updated on that as and when it happens.
We're both well and having a fab time, even if Lyndz is slightly sulking cos im much browner than her!!!!
