After four days in Bangkok, I decided to head down to Pattaya for the beach scene. By my expectations, things were as crazy as what I've heard from friends. The beach was not much compared to the ones in the Philippines. Most of the emphasis there was based on the night life which was Songtan, S. Korea multiplied by 50.
I got to catch a few amature muay thai fights. The awkward thing was that these fighters were making there own bets with the crowd. One fighter approched me and asked for five hundred baht if he knocked out the other guy. I later gave him two hundred for the effort.
I went to check out the next beach, Jomtein, which was about or worst then Pattaya. Not much of a supprise, the water there was about the same as the beaches in Delaware. I'm definitely going to have to hit up the beaches down south more.
