Today we took the train to Verona. We arrived to a cozy little town full of bright gardens and realistic sculptures. We walked down to the arena, which was in the center of town. It began to rain so we took shleter in one of the stone archways entering the arena. Once the rain lightened up we walked towards Casa di Giulietta, or Juliet's house. We walked into the courtyard where you could see the balcony and their was a beautiful bronze statue of Giulietta. The hallway walls to enter the courtyard were covered in scraps of paper and graffiti from lovers around the world. We walked through the daily market and wandered the cobblestoned streets surrounded by old buildings. On our way back to the station we got some more gelato...flavors we have had so far are: nutella, tiramasu, pistachio, banana, coconut, biscotto, strachiati, caffe, and one that we cant remember.
