It's amazing to believe that next Saturday I will be heading to London to spend a few days with a friend there, coming back to Aber for 26 hours, and then heading back to London to fly home. Less than two weeks until I come home. This semester has been life changing. I've learned so much about myself that it's unreal. 4.5 months of a truly amazing educational experience and I wouldn't have changed a thing about it. I have absolutely no regrets and finally feel like it's time to move on. I don't want to leave Wales, but I know that this chapter of my life is coming to an end and it needs to. It's one of those times when you know you'll be upset to go, but happy to arrive back home. I miss my family a lot, and this has made me truly value them so much more. I miss my friends, even the ones that I had difficulty staying in touch with. It's been a learning experience, especially in the classroom setting as well. I have LOVED the sports and exercise science department here. The staff is amazing and caring, which in the university setting can be difficult to come by. I've become much more confident in who I am, where I come from, and what I'm about. I'm more independent, I know how to get around and be smart about it, I know what's safe and what isn't, and I know that no matter what happens the most important thing to look out for it you. I've made some friendships here that will last, I just know it. It upsets me that the American friends I've made here live far away from me in the States, but atleast we're in the same country. They've all become intricate parts of my everyday life, and I know for a fact that my long distance phone calls are going to increase when I get home. I'm really going to miss my Welsh/English friends. Through Jordan I've made a lot of friends here that are so sweet and awesome. Jordan has become my English Big brother and I'm going to really miss him. He promises to come visit the states though, and I will hold him to it.

Aberystwyth, Wales has embedded itself in my heart, but that's the beauty. I'm taking my heart with me and I will never forget the people, the atmosphere, the university, and the life I've had here because it will forever be with me. Thank you Nicole Myers for turning me onto Aberystwth, thank you to all the friends I've made here, thank you to all the friends who've done so well in keeping in contact, and lastly thank you mom and dad. Your love and support through all of this has been so amazing and I love you both so much. I can't wait to see you all soon, and to those of you I'm leaving I can't wait to see you again in the future.
