Romania was freakin AMAZING!!!
We got to stay in Constanta at the YWAM base! It was near the ocean and it was so beautiful! Everyone was so nice and accepting, which was good also
Our team got to have choices on what they wanted to do throughout the time. There would be 2 or 3 people that would go and do one thing while 2 or 3 people would do something else at the same time. It was really nice! Some of the options were:
Casa Sami: working with kids YWAM Day Center: working with kids Girls Home: construction Street Kids Ministry: Walking and talking with the people on the streets Campus Crusade: working with the christian students from a local university (visiting dorms, going to a flood relief meeting because some of Romania had been flooded a little bit before we came) Sihar: praying for prostitutes on the street
That's about all the choices we had, but we got to do those things daily. We got to make relationships with the people in Constanta and the people we worked with in the different ministries. We couldn't help much with the flooding, but a team from YWAM constanta went to a flooded area and got to help out for the week we were there. They brought back pictures and it looked and sounded like there was a lot of damage and a lot of people left homeless. If you like to pray, please pray for the people there. That they would get help and their hope would be restored.
