Gypsies and Cafe Youth

We are all now in Hisaria in Bulgaria. We have been here for about 4 days. It's a really quiet, peaceful, little town and it's the perfect place for us becase pretty much the whole team has been fighting a cold for the past week. This town and our contacts have given us a lot of time to just rest. Yesterday, although, we did 2 programs. We went to a gypsy village and played with about 50 kids from there. The parents and other relatives also came out to join us and watch! The team had lots of fun! We played games, sang songs and just loved them. Stacey, Natalia, and Lauren painted nails, Wendy played guitar, Angee got Jong-Kyu and Will played some "guy game" with the guys, Jordan sat with the kids and talked with them, Angee got to talk with the older girls and Nate got to talk with the older guys. Will, Lauren, Angee, and Nate also performed a drama for them. We gave the town a chance to get prayed for which was really awesome also!

Later on, after we were done at the gypsy village, we went to a womans cafe to meet with people. This woman has a vision for a youth cafe to get started and grow more and more. Last night was the first meeting ever and it went great! Our team led the time and it was very effective. The people there loved what we were doing. Nate and Stacey shared testimonies, we did a drama, sang songs, and also got a chance to pray for the people and their loved ones that they brought up. The meeting went really well and the woman and her husband were thankful that we had come.

That was just a taste of what we have been up to the past few days. More to come later...
