So, in a few minutes we are going out to re-celebrate Jessica's birthday. She didn't get a real party in the jungle, although we did eat monkey! But she doesn't know about it, so don't tell her. It's our last night here in Lima and then it's back to the grindstone so we're gonna let loose you know? Yeah, so hopefully you will hear from us again soon. We don't really know what awaits us in Columbia. I have been telling the team we have to meet some drug traffickers so we will have some cool stories to tell but they think safety is more important. Umm...does that make this website exciting for you? Knowing that we are safe all the time. Don't you want a little suspense? I know I would. That's why I try and get myself in unusual situations. So hopefully I won't let you down and we'll have some exciting stories for you in the near future.
I really haven't said much about the jungle have I? Well, I just remembered that I was hit in the mouth with a bat...no not a baseball bat, the kind that fly around and suck your blood. Don't worry it was small, and it makes a good story right? Sure does. We swam with fish that had spikes on them, electric eels, dolphins, aligators, snakes, pirhanas, you name it. We saw a few monkeys. After 2 days I had over 70 bug bites on one leg. You can also see that gorgeous picture of Laura's legs too. It was a sweet time. Well, I am gonna end this now and hopefully put a few more pictures on. They take a really long time to upload, hence, so few.
We'll let you know how the party went. Don't worry there won't be any alcohol involved.
