On Sunday, I and my wife, together with some of my relatives visited Tincep, a small village 4 km from Sonder. Tincep is famous for its flowers. Along the road of the village we can see many kinds of flowers. Orchid, buogenville, sun flower, canna and many other decorate the front yards of the villagers' house.
Tourists from around the world come to this village to enjoy and buy these flowers. I took some pictures of those flowers. You can see them in the picture links. There are three waterfalls just one or two kilometers from the Tincep. Like many Minahasa people, the villagers in Tincep work as farmers growing rice, clove and other plants. They have fish ponds along the nearby river. The price of these flowers ranges from 2 USD up to 100 USD a bag. It depends on the kind of flower and how you bargain with the vendor.
