Just about 2 weeks left here in Wittenberg before we go off on our adventure in Europe! I am so not ready to go. It seems like just the other day we were waiting to get picked up by our host families. Time sure flys by when youre having fun! We are all done with our class excursions, :( I really liked those, especially Dresden. It was such a gorgeous city! We saw all sorts of pictures of how the city looked just after the bombings in the second world war, and its just incredible how much they had to restore everything. We went up to the top of the Frauenkirche, and had an amazing view of the Elbe river. They call Dresden the Florence of Germany, and they were right. We also had amazing weather. I was able to wear flip flops for the first time since spring break, yay! Ive got some really good pictures of everything, and after this weekend in Prague, I will burn a CD and post some online. If I were to post all of them though, i think you might get bored looking at them. Ive got 700+ on Marks laptop, and probably another 300 or 400 on Jareds. I will have a great time scrapbooking when I get back! Today during our breaks, Guy Analiese Mark and I planned where we are going to be after the semester. We got it figured out to where we will be every day, and how we will get there. Now we need to look for hostels, train tickets, and airplane tickets. We arranged it too so that we wont be jumping all over the continent too, but rather in a circle. We will be in Greece for a total of 7 days, then 2 days in Salzburg, at a small hiking town buried in the alps for 2 days, Innsbruck, Austria for 2 days, Freiburg Germany for 3, Trier, the oldest city in Germany for 2 days, Köln Germany for 2 days, Aachen for 2 days, Amsterdam for 3 days, Paris for 4 days, and then head back up to Berlin to meet my family who are flying in on the 10th of June. So Ive got a month to travel around and sightsee, and I cant wait! It will defintly be hard to come back and not have any money though lol. But Ive got to look at some information about hostels and flight tickets so be sure to drop me a line sometime, let me know how things are with you all because Ive only got 2 weeks of regular computer use, then you wont be hearing any more from me!
