Theres only a month left here in Wittenberg! Im so sad, I cant believe how fast it went. For those of you who dont know yet, the biggest thing thats happened since I last wrote was that I was finally able to switch to a different family. I had been thinking about it alot, and so I asked. They found me a new family, who is super amazing, that same day. So I moved that night. It only took me half an hour to throw everything in my bag and move out. Now, I live about the same distance away from school, but a little bit more south. I live a block away from Jared and Alyssa, which is great if I want to go visit them or borrow something quickly. I get to live in an apartment now. Its above the flower shop that my dad owns, so it usually smells really good. Even though its a little small, the family definetly makes up for it! Im able to talk to my mom about anything and feel totally comfortable about it, since she is only 30 years old. Over easter break I didnt get to see them alot though, they were out a lot visiting family. So I went and hung out a lot at Robs house. His family here is huge and people were just coming and going the whole time. We went to a cool easter fire. Thats their thing here. We also went to church on good Friday, which was interesting even though I couldnt understand a thing! On Monday, Rob, Lydia, Stefan and Reni, the last two being German teenager guys, went to Berlin for the day. Rob was so happy with his purchase, a huka, or water pipe. The weather was kinda rainy, so we didnt see anything to spectacular. On the way back on the train, we had a funny experience. At one stop, a bunch of drunk german young men came on the train, they were just at one of the soccer games, and their hometeam won. They were incredibly friendly, and kept asking when Rob and I were going to get married and if they were invited to the party. They sang all sorts of songs, majority of them having something to do with how the DDR, old east germany, is better than the BRD, old west germany. So it was definetly entertaining, we got a couple of pictures together. This week we only have 3 days of school because on Friday we are going to see Dresden. Its a town that was almost completely destroyed in the war, but they restored everything to look like it did before. Ive heard its a gorgeous city, and we are all looking forward to it. We only have one tour together, then the rest of the time is free time to do whatever we want. But Ive got to head out, we are going to a wine testing party, then i have to register for classes for the fall. Let me know what youre taking, and ill see if we have any in common! Tschuess!

Next entry: Times a ticking!
