Hi all,
Okay I know I said you were all free of me for almost three weeks, but hey that turned out to be a lie as we have made a stop-off in Bermuda. Have been on the all ship almost 10 days and was just getting to the point that I didn't notice it swaying anymore when we reached land, and now the land is swaying - very strange!!
So no board we are devided into three watches each with about 11 people in them, the ship is along about half full, which is great as I swear there is not enough room for twice as many people, we all have a spare bunk above us, which most people are generally using for dumping grounds or worn smelly clothes, resulting in teh whole ship stinking of sweat - lovely. But yey its washing day on Thursday - clean clothes WOW, I have totally run out of those.
Everyone on the ship is great, even the very Downe Housey girl (Downe people you know the type of person I mean) Complete range of ages and abilities and backgrounds, from like 19 to mid 60s, its fascinating.
The first day we had to do the "up and over" which involved going up to the lowest platform on the mast and back down the otherside, and me bing me and terrified of hights found this - well terrifying. But I've been going up every day and can now get onto the lowest yard and all the way out to the yard arm with no trouble - a feat for which I was awarded the "superhero of the day award". Next step is to get right to the top, kinda terrifying as most of the time you are not stapped on, but it will be done and i'll get photographic proof. Talking of photos, have my camera plugged in but can not find the floder to upload the pictures from.
Wildlife wize, we have seen two wales, very cool, a suisidal flying fish which launched itself onto the deck(and plenty of non suisidal noes) and a very tiresd sparrow that we escorted to Bermuda in a hat.
Anyhow time is running out must dash, will be making another stop off in about 10-14 days so will try to write then.
bye
