BUSY!!!!!!!!

Hola Todos,

Well, THis weekend was another fun and busy one. I had class all week, so that was LONG. Then on Friday, me, my roommate Alexis, and our friend Jen, went to Cordoba for the day. It was only a 45 minute train ride on the AVE, which is the high speed train. SO that was nice. We got there and went to the Mezquita, which was a mosque, but was turned into a chruch. IT was realyl cool. It has over 500 arches that are painted red and white, because they used brick to build it. Also it has all different types of columns, because they borrowed them from other sites. But it is also kind of sad, because it is a beautiful mosque, built forever ago, but then when the Christians conquered, they had to change it into a church. So itīs kinda weird to see some muslum things and then atlers and statues of the saints all at the same time.

Also while we were there we went to a botanical garden, which was beautiful!! We just happened upon it, because we werenīt able to go to the Alcazar there, because of stupid sieta. Now i understand why tourists donīt really like it :) But the gardens were great, and Iīm glad we got to go there!

On Sunday I went to chruch, and then tried to go to IKEA, for a project, but of course it was closed. Everything is closed on Sunday, which is crazy! So Iīm going to IKEA today and looking forward to some ice cream, because itīs been like 75-80 degrees here.

Miss you all!!
