Scuba Sun and all that Fun

Hey all, back again.

So I am now a qualifed open water diver, how cool is that?! I've now done 4 open water dives and am qualifed to dive almost anywhere i want to a depth of 40 metres. Scuba diving is amazing, I've seen squid, turtles, a ray and of course the seahorse, and so many fish, some of which i swear I recognised from your an aquarium sreensaver that Paul has on his computer. It so tranquil under that water and when the visibility is good, you can look all acros these increadiable underwater gardens, fantastic, obviously i can't take pictures of that, but you've all seen it on TV, however TV does not do justice to actually being down there, wow. The second dive wasn't quite as good as i got sea sick, oops, I bet you've never vomited underwater!!! ha ha, but it was still good.

Met a scotish lad who was also here on his own so and doing the scuba diving so teamed up with him for the last couple of days, which was cool, we went out last night and i managed to find a pool table, was starting to get withdrawal symptoms, so yes so played against some very good people, did okay, almost won one by skill and then did with the game cos he went inoff, so yey!!!

Erm what else, we went up a big limestone cave called Harrisons Cave and now have lots and lots of pictures of stalictites (god I need to learn to spell!!!) It was very impressive, and had big pools of fresh water along with some amazing structures.

So today I spent the morning trying to find the scotish lad before he got his flight, but he was nowhere to be seen. By trying to find I mean, sitting in one sunny bar then walking for about 5 minutes to sit in another sunny bar - ooh its a hard life!!

I have very comical tan (well burn) marks on my and legs from the wet suit, about half way down the tops of my arms and halfway down my theighs, very comical, think I will have to do some sitting in the sun to even them out.

Am going out in the town i'm staying into night, its a fishing town (well village really) and every friday they have a big fish party thing, aparrently it should be good. Bumped into one of the locals i met on the plane just now, so will be meeting up with them later.

erm I think that's about it for now,k but will def write again before I get on the ship, take care all

Robyn

PS, only uploading a few photos now as it takes ages, will upload more when i'm in a place with a faster internet connection.

PPS oh yes, just remembered something quite amusing, on of the guys i met on the plane has a twin brother, and they both have the same name!! how silly is that, i asked iif it was a Bajan thing, but he recons his mum was just lazy!! anyhow that is about it

PPPS, correction, having issues with the pictures so just one of a beach for you for now.

Maggie - in the picture i'm putting on a cradigan, its taken in the photobooth where i got my passport photos taken
