school can still be school
Wednesday was another average day in the city of Cannes. In class we talked about our families and that was a lot of fun for me. Apparently my extended family is just really large compared to the rest of my class. They all thought that having 4 aunts and uncles made their family big. I guess I out did them...
In the mail I got the second nexsletter from the Bethel Study Abroad Office. That was pretty exciting. It meant 2 new Clarions to read. I can't believe how quickly I read those entire newspapers now that I am not actually at Bethel. Very ironic.
Lunch was not really very good, but dessert was excellent so I guess that balances things out. After lunch I tried to go to the Mediatheque, but the internet was down again. Sigh, oh well... Instead I came back and read the aforementioned Clarions.
Later on in the afternoon, I got together with Teresa to do research for our presentation on Simone de Beauvoir (french feminist). It was kind of interesting.
AFterwards, I really didn't do all that much. I read some, listened to Rachael replan her spring break and then went to call my mom. Which was really funny, but also very awkward. Usually when I call home I'm in a little phone room, but they were full this time so I had to use a phone in an entry way. I felt like my loud laughing was distrubing people. Oops...
