Thursday a chartered boat took us over to the main land where we met the other ksu students from orvieto and began a bus tour of carlos scarpa in northen italy. we went to the Brion-Vega cemetery which is fantastic. then to vicenza where we had a 2 hour break for lunch. i dinned on spinach and green bean pizza at a bar across the street froma famous building by palladio. Back on the bus we went to Villa Capra, i have always loved the immaculate palladian villa, and it was a true pleasure finally seeing it in person. In the evening our bus dropped the gang of us off in Verona where we humped it over to albrgo trento for the night. instead of going out, since i had developed a painful bruise on my left heel, i just stayed in the room and drew.
