So... In Bangkok we had a day off me and Eva. Just chilling and reading most of the day. It was nice to take a breather.

The morning after the boys came.(rickard and patrik from Oslo)We went for a walk to China Town. mostley just a bunch of stalls selling bits and pieces. We went into what we thought was a deparment store. It turned out to be one but I think we stepped into the 1970s. Not a soul in sight only tons of salespeople trying to sell us junk. They were seriously trying to sell old boomboxes for the same price as new stereos. What a timemachine. How wierd.

We kept on walking and then took a local taxiferry to a temple with a huge reclining Buddha of gold. Amazing to see. The Temple and the grounds were amazing and beatiful. They has several statues that looked like they would fit perfectly in Alice in Wonderland.

Then we took a tuk-tuk to MBK a 7 floor shopping center. We thought it would be cooler than it really was. The cloths were quite boring and the salepersonel not so friendly. But then we got up to electronics and guess what eva and rickard bought. Gameboy advanced with several games to go with. Patrik bought a cellphone. So cool. Doesent excist i Europe.

Saturday now and we were off to the weekend market. It was huge. 15000 stalls and 200000 people there per day. But it was so much fun. We drank drinks out of plastic bags and ate street food. I still dont know what I ate there. There was all sorts of stuff there. cloths, cds, games, vases, lamps, clocks, plants, animals, bags, shoes, underwear that were unisex. so cool. and so much more. Shopped till we dropped (about 7 hours)and then went home to Khao San. Went out for a few beers that evening.

Khao San is a bit wierd. There are taxidrivers and tuktuk drivers pulling at you wanting to take you somewhere and if you say no they ask if you want to go to a pingpong show or to a stripclub or something like that instead. Doesnt matter what time it is. The clubs stop selling beer at 12 but the parties keep going on and on and on. Why??? How??? You wonder??

Day after took it a bit slow. Caught a boat not to The Floating Market but to a floating market. 5 boats maximum. We laughed. But it was actually still a gr8 way to see another side of bangkok. People say its the Venice of Asia. Pretty cool seeing how people live along the banks of the rivers. Headed then off to the palace. Pretty amazing. Lots of lovely murals everywhere. We were all pretty beat and tierd at this point. Needed food. Headed to the ferryboat and then took the skytrain to the big shopping centers. Ate, shopped and caught a movie. Gr8.

Also in Bangkok we went to the Hard Rock Cafe. It was alright. The best thing that happened to me was...................................

I FINALLY BOUHGT A DIGITAL CAMERA. CANON.

I am so so so so glad. Its not the best one. But pretty much the cheapest one and the quality of the pics are fantastic.

I dont have time to load up any pics this time but next time I will show you tigers.

Day after Bangkok we headed to Kanchanaburi. (The River Kwai)

Tell you soon.
