After a the worst 12 hour bus journey you could imagine - 6 hours on dirt road sharing a 1 person seat at the back of a 12 seater minibus which had 14 people on it and 14 rucksacks(sorry helen that I didn't take your advice and fly)we arrived in Siem Reap. Which is bizzare, we traveled for 6 hours with no street lights or any modern amenties at all then suddenly we hit a city with no warning. We went to 2 of the temples today - Angkor Wat and Angkor Phrom they were the most amazing thing I've ever seen, how they managed to transpor the stone more than a 1000 years ago using only elephants? We've a 3 day pass so I'll upload all the pictures together.

Take care

Mel and Ben x
