Negev Day Hike

2005-11-12, Ramon Crater, Israel

Early this morning we set off on a hike that took hours. The madrichim were driving us crazy freaking out about water and hats. It was so frustrating, being from Arizona and from similar weather to be yelled at and told that if i wanted to go on a hike i neeeded to wear a hat, even if i only had a wool hat. idiots. regardless, the hike was a lot of fun and even though it was a big group i was able to do a portion of the hike on my own which was nice because i prefer to enjoy nature on my own or with a friend or two... not 40. The Negev is a barren desert, very different from the Sonoran desert i love, but still beautiful in it's own way.
