We had to get up soo early to drive the 4 hours to Eilat. It's my first group trip so i'm a bit nervous...we arrive in Beer Sheva and spend time exploring the Bedouin market which is AWESOME. the food rocks and it's not touristy at all. Afterwards we make our way to Ramon Crater which is not a Crater at all, it's just a canyon type place and we walk along the top and i decide to go rock climbing but i cut my ankle on the rock...grrr... afterwards we board the bus again and drive to a touristy bedouin camp. It's cool, cuz in the U.S. we have touristy camp sites but in Israel their camp sites are bedouin camps. We cook some food (my crew was in charge of the bbq's) and my friend dave and i decide to go exploring. we ran around the desert for awhile until finally returning to the campfire for american smores (we'd already made pita on the fire...) and our group tent.
