Israeli Weddings are CRAZY! It's a big party with hundreds of people, some even have thousands of people. There's a big dance party, with tons of drinking, tons of food, tons of fun. You pay around 50 dollars to go, and before you even enter the main wedding area, there's a coctail area out front. With tons of booths set up with alcohol and food and people and it's crazy. The wedding took place outside on the Kinneret. Everyone was drunk (all 800 people) before we even went into the wedding. Everyone was partying now in this other area, when i look up and see the bride and groom walking with some people "down the aisle" but on the outskirts of the party. the guests weren't there to watch, they were there to party! so i wander down to the beach where the wedding was taking place by and orthodox rabbi in a top hat, there was about a hundred people gathered around talking, cheering and watching the ceremony. As soon as it ended the bride and groom went up to the dance floor and the dance party began. It was so different from any wedding i'd ever heard of, israelis are so much fun and they LOVE to party!
