2006-02-24, Sabalos, Nicaragua

After a good sleep in Los Chiles I went to immigration for my stamp and the nearby harbor the get on the boat to San Carlos in Nicaragua. I was told that the first boat would leave around nine so there I was... ready at 8:30am. Well, the owner of the boat just waited as long until his boat was full enough so we left at 1pm... f*cking bastard!

Well, in the end I got at Sabalos Lodge at 5pm. Sabalos Lodge was not really the place I expected it to be. It is not ended for backpackers but rich tourists... but I found my friends Gijs & Lettica from Holland which were nice company.

Got a nice little room for 6 bucks... quite ok.

Next entry: Sabalos village and hanging around...
