Today was the big day... Going on a tour with David and the two Kawasaki Z400 racers! We started heading south to the beaches of El Remanso which is quite near San Juan. Easy going, getting used to the bike with its enormous power. Shifting gears, braking, etcetera. The we continued our journey to the beach of El Coco, which is about 15km south. Getting to know the bike and feeling more comfortable it was nice to see what it was able to do; which is a lot, believe me...
Then we headed back to San Juan and further up north to the beaches of Marsella and Majagual. Because the beach of Marsella had quite a lot of hard sand I just wanted to try the bike for a little bit of spinning and turning. And that's were it offcourse went wrong... The first time was great... I spinned around a lot and when I came back I wanted David to take some pictures another time. But after 5 minutes I made a high flipover during a curve and landed about 6 metres from the bike. My left knee was quite hurt though I was able to drive all the way back to San Juan del Sur. It is hard to walk know... The knee will need a nice night of rest and we'll see what happens tommorrow...
Nevertheless it was a great day!!!
