|  | | Nicaragua´s best among beaches... | | | | | The plan was to go to Isla de Omotepe; an enormous island in Lago de Nicaragua. The island is erected by two vulcanos which makes it quite special! But sadly to hear the ferries are not allowed to cross the small waterpass due to the current strong winds and since the wind seems to be persistent on blowing for a couple of more days we decided to head for San Jose del Sur.
San Jose del Sur should be "the beach place" of Nicaragua; at least according the guidebooks; but has little to offer... The hostal we found is quite nice though and it will be fine to stay here for one night.
For me and my health it is not going too well... I have explosive diarrhea, a broken toenail and got sunburned all over my body. Do feel a little sick but I´ll manage.
