Hi Children,

Many thanks for your email and the interest shown in my travels.

I'm now travelling in Northern Thailand near the Burmese, Laos borders. This is a very mountainous area and the temperatures are much cooler than Southern Thailand.

I have visited the Doi Inthanon National Park where lots of animals live, such as elephant, tiger, tapir, deer and gibbon. The mountain people that live here make beautiful handicrafts. You can see from the photographs that they live in wooden houses on stilts. The children that live here have only recently started to go to school!

Keep working hard for Mrs Bailey and Mrs Wilson. I have sent you some photographs of some plants to identify.

Love to everyone Lynn Bannister( Your travelling teacher )
