hey, just thought i'd let you know i have a cell phone here. the #'s (011) 353 85 1073449. some of my flatmates moved in today, which was nice cuz it was starting to get a bit lonely. it's cold and wet and foggy...basically it's tacoma with more of a chill. nasty really, especially after months of tropical weather. i've learned a lot about the irish, but have only met a few. when school gets rolling things should be better. it's been a bit up and down emotionally. i've really struggled with why i came here, which is unfortunate to experience after arriving, but it seems that my motivations are a bit different now than they were a year ago when i applied for this. if i were to choose a program now i think i would do something different. it's not that ireland isn't great or the people aren't fun, but adjusting to life in another western culture isn't the kind of experience that i feel i need right now. but, i'm here and school has yet to start (classes start monday and we register for them in a few weeks once we know what we want to take) so i don't think i'll be going anywhere and am just going to have to make the most of it, travel a bunch where funds allow, and hopefully i'll feel differently when it's all over.
