This was the 3rd time I was going to Krabi and unfortunately this time the weather was not as good as the previous 2 occasions. Most of the time it was cloudy and drizzling unlike last year at the same time I was there when it almost sunny all the time. Nevertheless enjoyed our stay there and we stayed in Krabi town for a night before moving to Ao Nang. Krabi town is a small town with no large department stores but plenty of good local food around. A good dinner for 2 can be had at the street side stalls by the river for easily less than 100 B person and for breakfast I would recommend going to a tim sum place and you can have you fill for about 120 B for 2 people. At Ao Nang it was rainig most of the time and there was only 1 day where we could go the beach at Railay and enjoy ourselves. It was good that while there we were able to meet up once more with the nice local Thai people whom we had befriended the year before and to hear how they had survived the tsunami and the effect that had on their lives.
