So last time I think I entitled an email like this, it meant that I was coming home from Thailand earlier then I planned. This time, it means that I´m coming home later then I planned. Sometimes opportunities present themselves, and I just can´t say no.
This time it is a ten day cruise to Antartica! Yes...that really cold continent that encircles the south pole. And most exciting, it means that I´ll have gone to all 7 continents! I´m pretty excited by all of this. Thankfully, work, family, and gf were really understanding in regards to me coming back later then expected.
So the cruise is from Dec 25 to Jan 3. I´ll be back in the states on the 5th of January.
As for what we´re doing till then? Well, we´ve been hanging out in Ushuaia. The city is at the southern tip of South America. We´ve mainly dealt with logistics since we´ve gotten here. Today, we were going to go hiking, but it is cold and rainy and decided to sleep late instead.
As for Argentina, there are definite differences over Chile. Of course, it´s weird that they speak the same language, so it doesn´t feel like a new country.
