that is really what is important. from door to door it took about 27 hours of travel time. much of that was waiting in airports. ugg.... finished 1 1/2 books, a couple sudoku, and slept a bit. the movie was pretty crappy...bewitched....so i skipped that.
the plan right now is to head off tomorrow morning for 6 days of backpacking. so i wonīt be back online till sunday night the earliest. weīll see how well i do. iīm not exactly in the best shape iīve ever been in. supposedly there are some caves in the glaciers that we can walk in. thatīd be cool. hopefully there will be some pictures too. the pictures will either be on this site or on my brothers webjournal. www.traveljournals.net/scottr128.
scott is looking good. you donīt have to worry, he doesnīt have a beard down to his knees yet. itīs only really approaching mid-chest. just kidding. he looks normal. has had some good adventures and is still loving traveling. well except for days like today where we spend all day dealing with logistics.
thatīs all for now. your job now is to find punto arenas and puerto natalas on a map of chile. weīre really far south. the sun rises at around 5am and sets at around 10:30pm.
