You can buy bedouin handicrafts on Masirah Island,Oman. It is south of Muscat. When you get to the Island just ask for Salima Hamdoun Wahibi's house. You can buy bags,bracelets,heychains,rugs and necklaces. It is such a small island, everyone knows where everyone lives. Buying handicrafts make a difference in livelihood for these people. Masirah Island is also very beautiful and has some beautiful white sand beaches with clear blue water. It is a great relaxation vacation spot that is unspoiled by the forces of globalization
