Our trekking gang... but it didn't clear well enough for some good photo's sadly - so this is on the way down! The opposite mountain and it cleared enough to see how high we were! took some cheesy photos and the fog beat us! So we wait it out... The fog is starting to come in now so it's a race to the top... More homes and lots of washing!

The woods... Rolling hills... They farm some of the land. Although they are declining inumbers as the younger generatons move on The hill people, called the Toda Tribe Trekking Day in the western Ghats!! A coffee seller at the end of a row of jewellery shops and chemists! A run down old building - there was a meeting going on in here! This is Ooty town cwntre - you can get an x-ray here, amongst other regular items!
This garden is made entirely from thread - apparently it's a miracle according to the display signs! How could you do this to your child? I will be surprised if he isn't scarred for life. Poor bugger The Lake We had a minnie mouse boat! It was considered a luxury boat as it had a roof! Went to the boat house and had a go on the lake in a pedalo! Some horse and carts... This is the race course - we heard some race commentary but saw no race! It was on the radio! A bit more of the view for you...
