An unexpected holiday ....

So here we are in Banos (means bath), and that´s what it´s famous for - its thermal baths. Oh, and the very active volcano right above the town. It´s long been an ambition of mine to see an erupting volcano and here you´ll never get a better opportunity. So, we paid our 6 dollars for a night time trip to see it spewing forth. baños...life is not so rough.

hmm what day is today? saturday. i arrived in baños two days ago with judith and tom, a dutch couple, and a canadian named jeremie. the bus ride was 3.5 hours and loud and bumpy and a wallet was almost stolen and judith´s mp3 player was indeed taken from her by someone on the bus...boo on that. it´s really hard to figure out how the guy got into her bag...
