DAY 19 ROAD TRIP - Nelson & surroundings.

After the exertions of yesterday, today was more of a relaxed day, looking at the area immediately around Nelson. There is a very pretty beach along the road from the Custom House, named Tahunanui. Having got up, the first task of the day was complete. Next came breakfast in the form of a lot of porridge and the packing of the rather small tent. This was the start of our two day trip. We were to be taken by water taxi to the most northerly point of the park where we would commence our walk along the coast in a southerly direction.
