Campervan!!!

Today we left the hotel and picked up out Transit campervan which is about 5 years old. We got all the paperwork signed off and we were back on the road!!! Pikeys again! We headed off to Greymouth and saw some beautiful sights on the way including snow capped mountains! We eventually arrived at the campsite after 3 and a half hours and got some shopping...


Not a lot happened but there was a brewery tour in there.

As the title suggests, we didn’t do a great deal today. Even God needed a day to chill. Even though we hadn’t just created the universe and everything in it, we had a rest and enjoyed our books. Wet West

Our drive up the West Coast was wet, the entire trip. Had a quick stop at Franz Josef Glacier but it’s just another glacier – from a distance I think they are nothing – will never beat landing and walking on one. Didn’t take us too long to get up to Greymouth. Settled into our accommodation before jumping back in the car to drive further up the coast...

A little luck with the weather, as we woke up to a bit more sunshine than the day before. This didn’t stay out long, especially not long enough to see any more white herons.
