Blown away!

On the way to Coffs Harbour we made a stop at the famous (apparently) Frodo’s Pies for lunch. The pies were yummy but a bit small for our liking. Hervey Bay to Coffs Harbour

Hi again! We are up to Fraser Island now. Saturday 18th July we caught the barge from Hervey Bay to Fraser Island. We arrived on the island and found our campground...wasn't too far on the map, but sand tracks meant that we didn’t arrive there until mid afternoon. So i had my last surf lesson today with superman. No he didn't turn up with his pants showing and a cape, no, he did however in the middle of my lesson say "stay there" and then swim off into the sea?! Dolphins!

So we arrived in the lovely town of Coffs harbour to a very nice YHA hostel, and straight away (i insisted!) we were off to the pet porpoise pool to see the dolphins!
