We spent 4 days in Cairns before heading to Cape Tribulation for 3 days. On the way there we stopped off at Mossman where we took a walk in the rainforest ending up at Mossman Gorge which was really nice - full of massive rocks and surrounded by rainforest. Our week in Cape Trib

So we arrived at the Cape Trib beach house to find it really was in the middle of nowhere. The dorms were little hut type things scattered along a road through the rainforrest-cool but annoying when you need a wee at 4 in the morning and have to treck through the jungle in the dark to get there whilst trying to avoid the toads/snakes/lizards/crocs etc! ...
