What a day for the wolf sightings!
Wolf watching is a lesson in patience. Some days the wolves are all over the place and other days the choose not to show themselves. We had some days where there would be a quick sighting and then nothing for awhile or they were the pack that is over a mile from the viewing area and you have trouble seeing them.

When you are watching wolves in Lamar Valley, one of the better places to camp is at Slough Creek because you are fairly close to where the wolves are to be found this year.
