We love Valladolid or at least like it a lot.

Tips on Valladolid- The Hotel Marcez is super nice but the food there is pretty bland. You pay as much as you would on the coast, salads $45 pesos and other plates $60 to $80. 18 Hours in a refugee camp...

...OK maybe not quite, but might as well have been, I´m talking about the 18 hour ferry ride from La Paz to Mazatlan. The ferry ride that we were told was a mear 12 hours, which we thought would be an adventure, only to discover 20 minutes into the journey, that it was in fact 18 hours.... of pure hell, on what Mr T so rightly named... the shit cruise! ...
